Celebrity Traitors Fans Dub Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Miranda Hart's Dance a "TV Moment of the Year"

Fans of "Celebrity Traitors" are hailing an impromptu dance lesson between contestants Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Miranda Hart as the "TV moment of the year." The pair, caught up in a moment of levity after a dramatic banishment, engaged in a humorous session learning choreography from Little Mix's hit song "Touch." This lighthearted interlude also inadvertently shielded them from the game's traitors, who were plotting a "murder in plain sight" in another room.

During the episode, following the banishment of Joe Lycett, the remaining contestants were relaxing. Pinnock, a member of the band Little Mix, offered to teach Hart a move from the music video for "Touch." Hart enthusiastically accepted, and her rendition of the dance left fellow contestants Sebastian Croft and Michael Sheen in stitches. The scene provided a stark contrast to the simultaneous efforts of the traitors, including Maya Jama, King Kenny, and James Acaster, who were strategizing their next move against the faithfuls.

Social media platform X (formerly Twitter) was abuzz with praise for the unexpected moment. Viewers described the juxtaposition of the traitors' tense plotting with Pinnock and Hart's joyful dancing as "iconic" and "incredible television." Many characterized the dance sequence as the highlight of the series, with one user commenting, "Leigh-Anne and Miranda unknowingly avoiding murder because they were doing Little Mix choreography is the TV moment of the year."

Meanwhile, the episode saw Joe Lycett banished after his attempts to be recruited as a traitor backfired. Lycett had openly expressed his desire to switch sides, which raised suspicion among the faithfuls. His slip-up at the roundtable, where he discussed the implications of being banished and the potential need for another recruitment, ultimately sealed his fate. Despite the game's dynamics, Hart expressed a personal reluctance to vote against Lycett, admitting she "physically couldn't write [his] name down."
