The incident occurred on February 2, 2024, in Melbourne's bayside suburb of Brighton, shortly before troubling photos of the couple emerged.
Photographs taken of Snezana Wood showed her standing beside a parked vehicle with her arms tightly folded across her chest, an image that appeared at odds with the couple's public persona. The situation was documented by a photographer who described a "very tense" interaction. Moments later, the couple was photographed embracing, but the images offered a candid glimpse of perceived strain.
More serious allegations surfaced in Maroochydore Magistrates Court, where court heard that Ms. Wood feared her celebrity fitness trainer husband. The court proceedings on Thursday focused on an alleged domestic violence incident at the Woods' beachfront apartment in the La Mer complex in Noosa. Sam Wood did not appear in court on Monday due to reported "mental health concerns," with his lawyer, Mathew Cuskelly, representing him. The matter was scheduled to be dealt with by the court.
The couple, who met on the 2015 season of The Bachelor, purchased a property in Brighton for $7 million in February. Following the alleged incident, Sam and Snezana Wood issued a joint statement posted to Instagram.
