Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb was the victim of a burglary at his Fairview, Texas, home, with thieves making off with approximately $300,000 worth of luxury items. The incident occurred on July 30 between midnight and 3 a.m. while Lamb was with the team in Oxnard, California, for training camp.

Police were alerted to the break-in the following day by an individual working on renovations at Lamb's property who noticed a broken window, believed to be the point of entry. The Fairview Police Department is currently investigating the incident, and no suspects have been identified.

The stolen items reportedly include four luxury bags, according to Fairview Police Department records obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. Lamb and the Cowboys concluded the California portion of their training camp on July 25 and were scheduled to return to Texas on July 28.

This burglary adds to a pattern of NFL players and other athletes falling victim to similar crimes in recent years. According to federal authorities, players such as Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Joe Burrow have had their homes targeted. NBA players, including Luka Doncic, Ja Morant, and Mike Conley Jr., have also experienced burglaries.

Items previously stolen from athletes' homes have included jewelry, cash, trophies, and medals. In one instance, items taken from Travis Kelce's home reportedly included the jersey he wore during his first Super Bowl victory with the Kansas City Chiefs. In 2024, the NFL issued a security alert to teams and the players' union following a series of burglaries affecting the homes of Mahomes and Kelce.

The incident involving Lamb's home occurred while it was vacant, a common occurrence in these athlete-targeted burglaries. However, in July, the home of Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley was reportedly targeted while his family was present.

Since 2024, law enforcement has arrested and charged seven men in connection with burglaries targeting NFL players. The investigation into the CeeDee Lamb burglary remains ongoing.
