Catherine Zeta-Jones attended the London premiere of her new Prime Video thriller series, "Kill Jackie," on Thursday night, stepping away from her on-screen persona to embrace old Hollywood glamour. The 56-year-old actress stars as Jackie Price, a former international drug smuggler who has lived anonymously for 20 years as an art dealer. Her quiet life is disrupted when a team of assassins is hired to kill her, forcing her to confront her dangerous past.

The series, which is an eight-part show, is based on Aidan Truhen's 2018 novel "The Price You Pay." Truhen is the pseudonym of Nick Harkaway, son of the renowned spy novelist John le Carré. In the narrative, Jackie's established, luxurious life takes a lethal turn when she learns "The Seven Demons," a group of elite hitmen, are targeting her. She then uses her past skills to take them down, only to discover that her own buried secrets may pose a greater threat.

For the premiere at the Curzon Bloomsbury, Zeta-Jones donned a caped silver sequin gown with a strapless corset-style top. She complemented the look with strappy silver heels and wore her dark hair in loose waves, opting for a bronzed makeup aesthetic.
