Catherine Zeta-Jones Channels Basic Instinct at Comic Con
Days after Michael Douglas's memoir detailed past affairs, his wife playfully recreated a famous scene.
Catherine Zeta-Jones offered a playful nod to a famous cinematic moment at New York Comic Con, striking a pose reminiscent of the iconic leg-crossing scene from Basic Instinct. The actress appeared on stage in a shimmering gold sequined dress, joking that her attire was an homage to C-3PO from Star Wars.
Her appearance comes as her husband, Michael Douglas, has been promoting his new autobiography, "One Helluva Ride," which candidly discusses his past relationships and sexual exploits. In the book, Douglas details an affair with his Romancing the Stone co-star Kathleen Turner and a fling with Basic Instinct co-star Jeanne Tripplehorn. He also recounts needing to end relationships with several women before beginning his courtship with Zeta-Jones in 1998.
Douglas and Zeta-Jones married in November 2000.
Zeta-Jones was at the event to promote her upcoming Amazon Prime Video thriller series, "Kill Jackie."
