Cat Escapes Carrier, Leads Vets on Chase in China
A feline's bid for freedom at a pet hospital was captured on CCTV, showing a chaotic attempt to evade capture.
A white cat caused a commotion at a veterinary clinic in Guangdong, China, after it slipped out of its carrier and evaded veterinarians. The incident was captured on surveillance footage.
As two veterinarians opened the carrier, the cat made a swift escape and began darting around the room. The feline appeared agile, climbing up a wall in an apparent attempt to find a new escape route. It then turned its attention to a hanging honor banner, grabbing at the velvet pennant as if to use it to reach a cabinet mounted above. However, these climbing efforts were unsuccessful, and the banner ultimately gave way, causing the cat to fall.
One of the veterinarians attempted to corner the cat using the carrier, but the animal dodged the maneuver. After a period of frantic attempts by the staff, the cat was eventually cornered and restrained in a corner of the room, bringing the chase to an end. CCTV footage documented the entire event.
