Comedian Carrot Top, whose real name is Scott Thompson, is reportedly awake and breathing on his own following an alleged suicide attempt on Friday. Sources told TMZ that the entertainer was rushed to a Las Vegas area hospital after the incident.
A representative for Thompson, Jami Schlicher, confirmed his hospitalization to Page Six but did not immediately address the circumstances. Later reports from TMZ indicated that Thompson "is now awake, breathing on his own and continuing to improve, surrounded by his family and those closest to him."
