Carole Radziwill Vows to Buy Every Copy of New York Post Page Featuring Parking Fines Story
Real Housewives star humorously reacts to being on the front page for accumulating nearly $8,000 in parking violations.
Carole Radziwill, a figure from reality television, has humorously stated her intention to purchase every copy of The New York Post's front page that features a story about her accumulating substantial parking fines. The tabloid's cover story details Radziwill's admitted use of tactics, such as employing ConEd cones, to reserve parking spots, a practice that contributed to nearly $8,000 in violations since 2020.
Radziwill, a member of the Kennedy family, told The Post that her family has already begun acquiring copies, with plans to use them as wallpaper. She described her initial reaction, alongside Andy Cohen, as one of "shock" upon seeing the cover so close to an election.
Despite the parking "hack," Radziwill maintained that she pays all her tickets and fines. Records indicate she failed to move her car for alternate side parking 17 times in the past six years. The Post also noted that her vehicle, a 1998 Jeep, was seen near her SoHo apartment with an expired FDNY union placard on its dashboard, a permit exclusively for firefighters.
The Department of Sanitation commented on the issue, stating that drivers who disregard parking laws impact the effectiveness of street sweeping, which is crucial for maintaining the cleanliness of city streets. Street sweepers can collect significant amounts of litter, but only when parking regulations are observed.
