Claudia Canals, rumored to be dating tennis star Carlos Alcaraz, recently participated in a social media trend that utilized ChatGPT to envision her appearance in the 1980s. She shared the resulting image on her Instagram Story prior to Alcaraz's US Open quarterfinal match against Ben Shelton.
The AI-generated image depicted Canals with the voluminous hairstyle characteristic of the 1980s, complemented by oversized gold earrings and an acid-wash denim jacket. The post coincided with Alcaraz's ongoing participation in the tournament.
Rumors of a relationship between Canals and Alcaraz began earlier in the summer when they were observed together on a boat. However, neither party has officially confirmed their relationship. The current geographical separation, with Alcaraz in New York for the US Open and Canals reportedly in Spain, has led to speculation among fans about the status of their connection.
Despite any personal relationship developments, Alcaraz's focus remains on the tennis court. He has advanced through the US Open with a strong performance, having dropped only one set heading into his match against Shelton. The withdrawal of his rival Jannik Sinner due to a knee injury potentially clears a path for Alcaraz to pursue his eighth Grand Slam singles title.
