Carley Shimkus, a co-host on Fox News' “Fox & Friends First,” has given birth to her second child, a son named Harrison. The network announced the arrival on Monday. Shimkus, 39, her husband Peter Buchignani, and their elder son, three-year-old Brock, have welcomed the new addition to their family. Ashely Strohmier, a correspondent, reported that both mother and baby are doing well.

Shimkus announced her pregnancy in March on the show, expressing her excitement for her second child. "My husband and I and Brock, my son, who’s now three, are so excited," Shimkus said at the time. "Baby number two is going to be due at the end of July." She later shared that the second child would also be a boy, stating, "I pray that they’re going to be the best of friends throughout their whole entire life."

Shimkus joined Fox News in 2009 as a production assistant and became a co-host on “Fox & Friends First” in 2021. She and Buchignani, who works in sales, married in New Jersey in 2015. Their first son, Brock, was born in January 2023.
