Carín León is set to make history this week as he begins his seven-concert Las Vegas Sphere residency, becoming the first Latinx performer to headline the unique venue. The initial shows commenced on Friday, September 4, with subsequent performances scheduled over the next two weeks. This residency culminates in the days leading up to Mexican Independence Day.

Last-minute tickets for León's shows remain available. As of publication, the lowest ticket price found for any of the seven concerts was $115, including fees, via SeatGeek. These prices represent a decrease compared to earlier reports in September 2025, when tickets ranged from $186 to $134.

León, 37, who hails from Hermosillo, has expressed his desire for audiences to experience his artistic vision during the residency. He stated in an announcement at Wynn Las Vegas in September 2025 that he wants attendees to "get into my brain" and embark on a journey through his influences and life experiences.

The setlist for the Sphere performances will feature 32 songs, including notable tracks such as "Según Quién," "Primera Cita," "Que Vuelvas," "El Tóxico," and his rendition of Noelia's "Tú." Based on a Spotify playlist shared by León, the full list includes "A Través del Vaso," "Me la Avente," "Ojos Cerrados" (a Banda MS de Sergio Lizárraga cover), "Como Lo Hice Yo" (Matisse cover), and "Alch Si" (Grupo Frontera cover), among others.

Following his Las Vegas engagement, León is scheduled to continue his tour across the West Coast. Concert dates include performances in San Jose (September 18), Fresno (September 19), Los Angeles (September 20), San Diego (September 24), and Sacramento (September 27), with additional shows in Glendale, Arizona; Ontario, California; Denver, Colorado; Salt Lake City, Utah; Seattle, Washington; and Portland, Oregon.

Other artists scheduled to perform at the Sphere include the Eagles, who will play from September 18 through January 23, 2027, and the Backstreet Boys, with shows from December 26 through January 2, 2027. Metallica is slated for a residency from October 1, 2026, through March 13, 2027, featuring unique setlists for each performance. "The Wizard of Oz" also continues its run at the venue indefinitely.

León recently released his new album, "Muda," which has been described by Billboard as spanning various genres, including ska, soul, norteño, and salsa, highlighting his versatility. His complete discography is available for fans to explore.
