The Football Association (FA) has charged Cardiff City defender Krystian Bielik with misconduct related to an altercation with Portsmouth fans. This charge follows an incident that occurred during Cardiff's 2-0 Championship defeat at Portsmouth on September 5, 2026.
The FA stated that Bielik allegedly "acted in an improper manner" around the 71st minute of the match. The Poland international has until September 25, 2026, to respond to the charge.
Hampshire Police, who were notified of the incident during the game, launched an investigation. However, the police have now concluded their inquiry, stating that the matter has been resolved through an out-of-court disposal agreed upon by all parties involved. As part of this resolution, the player has provided an apology.
A police statement confirmed that the matter is considered closed, and no further action will be taken by law enforcement. Cardiff City has been approached for comment.
