Swanepoel's sighting occurred in the same week that speculation about her relationship with Brady intensified. Brady, a former NFL star, resides on nearby Indian Creek Island. Insiders have suggested that the pair have been dating for some time and are spending considerable time together, citing their proximity in Miami as a convenience.
One source told People magazine, "They’ve been dating for a while now. They both live in Miami, so it’s very convenient. They’re spending a lot of time together." Another unnamed source indicated that Swanepoel has been discreet about the relationship, stating, "When they have met up, they’ve gone [to great] lengths not to be spotted."
These rumors have also sparked claims of a feud between Swanepoel and her friend and fellow Victoria's Secret model, Joan Smalls. Allegations suggest that Smalls is upset about Swanepoel's rumored relationship with Brady, particularly as a source claimed Smalls and Brady were casually involved with each other intermittently between 2023 and 2024.
