Candace Cameron Bure's Grandson Bond Leo Bure Makes Miraculous Return Home After NICU Stay

The name of Candace Cameron Bure's grandson has been revealed as Bond Leo Bure, following his challenging stay in the NICU after being born 10 weeks prematurely.

Elliott Dunham Bure, daughter-in-law of the 50-year-old actress and wife to her son Lev, 26, shared the news on Instagram, detailing the infant's journey.

Bond Leo Bure was born weighing 3 pounds and was immediately transferred to the NICU. After spending five weeks and five days in the hospital, the family was finally able to bring their "miracle boy" home. Elliott expressed profound gratitude for the medical staff, their supportive community, and for answered prayers.

"thank you Jesus for every answered prayer!!!!! we are blessed beyond measure!!!!" Elliott wrote in her post, which included photos from a newborn photoshoot and images from the hospital stay.

Candace Cameron Bure celebrated the news in the comments, calling Bond Leo a "miracle baby" and expressing her joy for Lev and Elliott. "You and Lev are the most amazing parents - and we are here for every minute of it," she wrote.

Candace, who welcomed her first grandchild with her husband Valeri Bure, previously announced that Elliott and Lev were expecting in May. She expressed her excitement about becoming a grandmother for the second time.

Lev and Elliott, both 26, work for Bure Family Wines in St. Helena, California, where Lev serves as vice president and Elliott as marketing manager. The couple married in 2020.

Candace Cameron Bure, known for her role as D.J. Tanner in "Full House" and its Netflix continuation "Fuller House," has three children with her husband Valeri Bure: Lev, Maksim, and Natasha. Natasha Bure Perry also announced her own pregnancy in May, making Candace a grandmother twice over.
