Candace Cameron Bure Becomes Grandmother as Son Lev and Wife Welcome Baby
The "Full House" alum's son, Lev Bure, and his wife, Elliott Bure, welcomed their first child, Bond Leo Bure, who was born 10 weeks early.
Candace Cameron Bure, 50, is officially a grandmother. Her son, Lev Bure, and his wife, Elliott Bure, welcomed their first child, Bond Leo Bure, who arrived 10 weeks premature.
Elliott announced the birth on Instagram, sharing that Bond was born at 3 lbs and was immediately transferred to the NICU. After five weeks and five days in the hospital, the baby was able to go home. "Bond was born 10 weeks early at exactly 3 lbs and was transferred immediately to the NICU — through lots of tears, countless prayers, and what felt like endless hours in the hospital, 5 weeks and 5 days later we finally brought our miracle boy home," Elliott wrote, thanking the hospital staff for their care.
Cameron Bure reposted Elliott's announcement to her Instagram Stories and expressed her joy in the comments. "Bond Leo is a miracle baby 😭🙌🏼🙏🏻❤️ Our hearts could not be more full of love. You and Lev are the most amazing parents – and we are here for every minute of it 🙌🏼❤️ We love you all sooooooo much 💙🩵💙," she wrote.
Lev, 26, announced in May that he and Elliott were expecting a child. This news followed his older sister Natasha Bure's pregnancy announcement. Lev and Elliott have been married since 2024.
Cameron Bure had previously announced her excitement about becoming a grandmother, calling her role "CandyGram" and noting that both her son and daughter were expecting. She had shared Natasha's pregnancy news on Instagram, writing, "I’m gonna be a Candy Gram!!!!!! 🤗🥳❤️." In another post, she shared a video of the moment she and her husband, Valeri Bure, learned of Natasha's pregnancy, reacting with surprise and excitement.
