Camerawoman Hospitalized After Collision With NFL Player During Falcons-49ers Game

A camerawoman sustained injuries after a collision with Atlanta Falcons tight end Kyle Pitts during Sunday's game against the San Francisco 49ers. The incident occurred midway through the third quarter at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

Pitts caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. and, in his momentum after scoring, collided with a camerawoman positioned on the sideline. She was reportedly sent backwards and remained on the turf for some time.

Players from the Falcons, including Pitts and Drake London, immediately tended to the camerawoman after the play. They assisted her to her feet, and she appeared to be disheveled but okay, though she was taken to a hospital for further evaluation.

The Falcons secured a significant victory over the 49ers, handing San Francisco its first loss of the season. The Atlanta team scored 13 points off four turnovers. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. threw three touchdown passes, completing 25 of 34 passes for 213 yards. The 49ers' offense faced challenges, including running back Christian McCaffrey missing significant playing time due to a thigh injury and two interceptions thrown by Brock Purdy.
