Officers from the Lodi Police Department fatally shot a McDonald's employee on August 24 after he fired a weapon inside the restaurant, injuring a coworker. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. when police received a report of an armed person in a storage area at the back of the McDonald's.

Surveillance footage released by the Lodi Police Department shows Jonhatan Anguiano, identified as the suspect, in the storage area with two coworkers.
