Authorities are searching for Thomas Gigler, a 56-year-old California man who went overboard from the Carnival Panorama cruise ship. Gigler, a father of three, was reportedly on an anniversary trip with his wife, Michelle, when he vanished from the ship on Saturday, September 19.
The computer programmer, who had worked for Esri for 24 years, is believed to have gone over the 11th deck as the ship traveled from Mexico toward Long Beach. His family raised the alarm when he could not be located. A search is ongoing, and Gigler is presumed dead.
