Joseph Naugle, a 22-year-old employee at the Dos Coyotes Border Cafe inside the Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln, California, has been arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder. The charges stem from a stabbing incident that occurred Wednesday night, leaving five coworkers injured.

New footage shows Naugle in custody shortly after the alleged attack, wearing a kitchen apron and handcuffed as he was escorted by a police officer outside the casino. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office stated that the suspect knew all five victims and that there are no outstanding suspects or threats to the public. One victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, while the other four were treated at the scene.

Mugshot photos of Naugle were released following his arrest. The Roseville resident is currently being held without bail. His arraignment is scheduled for Friday afternoon. The Dos Coyotes Border Cafe is located within the Thunder Valley Casino Resort.

The day after the stabbings, the casino posted on X about a Bruno Mars tribute concert, describing patrons as “partying non-stop.”
