Major airports across California and the United States experienced significant delays on Friday morning, with some facilities facing partial closures. San Francisco International Airport (SFO) reported average delays of 45 minutes, attributed by the FAA to low clouds. Departures at San Diego International Airport were delayed by nearly an hour because of wind.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport also reported widespread delays. Additionally, airports in Boston and Miami experienced disruptions on Friday morning. Partial closures are currently in effect at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), San Diego International Airport, and John Wayne Airport in California, according to the FAA.
