Anthony Joseph Blas was transported to St. Jude Medical Center shortly after midnight on Saturday and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Fullerton Police Department. Police stated that hazing was not a factor in the incident and there is no evidence of foul play. An investigation into the circumstances surrounding Blas's death is ongoing.

The student had been attending an event at an unaffiliated fraternity when the incident occurred. Police continue to gather information as part of their investigation.
