Business Owner Moves Illegally Parked Car With Forklift

A frustrated business owner resorted to using a forklift to move a car that was parked directly in front of his shop, blocking access to his warehouse. The incident occurred in Greater Manchester, where the driver had parked the Vauxhall Zafira Energy across the entrance to Luke Thurling's Stockport Pallet Warehouse.

Thurling, 38, stated that the recurring issue is exacerbated by the proximity of several gyms in the Hallam Mill area, leading to frequent parking obstructions. He shared footage of the event in an effort to discourage other drivers from blocking his business.

"Someone parked right in front of our shutter, so we couldn't open the warehouse," Thurling explained. "Luckily, we had a forklift handy. Usually we shift pallets, but today we've branched out into valet parking."

Thurling added, "Please keep our shutter clear - we've got enough customer returns."

The car's owner appeared unaware that their vehicle had been repositioned, driving off without acknowledging the incident. The video of the forklift maneuver gained traction on social media, with many viewers expressing solidarity with Thurling and sharing similar frustrations with parking issues.

The 38-year-old said it is a recurring problem due to a number of gyms being located nearby in Hallam Mill, Stockport

Social media users commented on the video, with one writing, "They won't park there again, well done," while another expressed, "Could do with one of them."

The business owner decided to share the footage in an attempt to deter more drivers from blocking his shop
