Weeks after country music star Jelly Roll filed for divorce, his estranged wife Bunnie XO announced she has been accepted into Arizona State University (ASU).

Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, revealed her academic plans on Friday, just weeks after the 10-year marriage officially ended. She has not specified her intended course of study at ASU, a university located in the Phoenix suburbs that has a long-standing reputation as a party school.

Bunnie, 46, has previously reinvented herself as a podcaster after a career as an escort. She is now teasing a potential academic path, humorously asking, "Dr. Xo loading?"

Jelly Roll filed for divorce in May. Three days later, Bunnie announced on her podcast, Dumb Blonde, that the couple was continuing a two-year IVF process to have a child together, a process she described as having left her a "shell."

Bunnie's enrollment at ASU comes as Jelly Roll's daughter, Bailee, 18, who Bunnie helped raise, is also preparing for college. Bunnie herself does not appear to have a prior university education. Her memoir, Stripped Down, details a turbulent youth that included periods of homelessness and work as a casino call girl. The book also touches on her struggles with addiction, an abortion at 16, and multiple arrests between 1999 and 2006.

She recently revealed she underwent plastic surgery, describing the procedures as "add-ons" without specifying details. She shared images of herself healing with a bandaged head, joking about her resemblance to comedian Bert Kreischer.

Following the divorce announcement, Bunnie compared her marriage to a man emerging from a decade-long prison sentence. She shared some of the direct messages she received from men after the news broke, noting that many proposals were too forward. One message from an incarcerated individual proposing a meeting upon his release prompted Bunnie to joke that she, too, had just finished a "10-year bid."

Bunnie previously stated on her podcast that Jelly Roll had already begun dating again and that she was "happy for him." She also addressed rumors of infidelity, specifically denying an affair with Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger. Jelly Roll publicly supported her statement during a concert, confirming that "nobody cheated on nobody" and expressing his enduring affection for Bunnie.
