Bunnie Xo, real name Alisa Carter, has announced her acceptance into Arizona State University, marking a new chapter following her reported divorce from country artist Jelly Roll. Carter shared the news via her Instagram Story on Friday, posting a screenshot of her acceptance message.

"Dr. Xo, loading?" she captioned the post, set to the song "Sex on Fire" by Kings of Leon. The announcement comes shortly after reports surfaced in May that Jelly Roll, whose birth name is Jason DeFord, had filed for divorce after nearly a decade of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was filed in Williamson County, Tennessee.

According to Page Six, the couple agreed to divide their assets and debts. In an episode of her podcast, "Dumb Blonde," released on June 18, Carter detailed a conflict that led to the divorce filing. She recalled an argument on Mother's Day during which she told Jelly Roll to "file the f–king divorce papers," a statement she emphasized held significant weight due to her usual demeanor.

Carter also revealed that the couple's journey with in vitro fertilization (IVF) had complicated their relationship, citing emotional, spiritual, and physical tolls. Despite the separation, Carter indicated that she and Jelly Roll still plan to welcome a child together.

Jelly Roll, 41, and Bunnie Xo, 46, were married in 2016. While the specifics of their marital disputes remain private, the public nature of their relationship and Carter's subsequent educational announcement have drawn attention.
