Alyssa 'Bunnie XO' DeFord, estranged wife of country music artist Jelly Roll, has shared her experience with online trolls who made disparaging comments about her weight gain during in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. The couple confirmed their divorce last month after a decade of marriage, having embarked on their IVF journey in 2024.

DeFord, 46, explained on her podcast 'Dumb Blonde' that hormonal changes associated with IVF led to weight gain. During this time, the country singer, 41, was undergoing a significant weight loss transformation, shedding over 200 pounds from a high of over 500 lbs to a goal weight of 265 lbs by November 2025. She recounted how internet users would comment, "Oh, she's bigger than her husband now!" She added, "You're literally trying to make a baby with your body, and it's like people just have no respect."

Jelly Roll, born Jason Bradley DeFord, filed for divorce on May 18 in Tennessee, with the date of separation listed as May 9. Despite the divorce, both parties have stated they remain on good terms and intend to co-parent their future child, who is being carried by a surrogate. The couple had previously attempted to conceive since 2019 and experienced the loss of four embryos, a difficult period that DeFord described as making them "trauma-bonded."

DeFord has emphasized that the divorce was not due to infidelity, though she noted Jelly Roll had a 10-month affair with a former girlfriend between 2017 and 2018. She also previously worked as an escort until 2020 and maintained an OnlyFans account until 2023, even after marrying Jelly Roll in 2016.

Jelly Roll has two children from previous relationships: an 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord, and a son, Noah Buddy DeFord, who will turn 10 next month. DeFord is currently dating 24-year-old Dylan Wolf, a reality television personality.
