Freddy Brazier's grandmother, Jackiey Budden, was attacked by his bulldog, Pablo, and required medical treatment. Neighbors had called police and the fire brigade to Budden's London home on July 16 after hearing screams as the dog gripped her. Four days later, on July 20, Pablo attacked again, leaving both Brazier and Budden injured and requiring hospital attention.
During the initial incident, Budden was home alone when the dog attacked. A neighbor alerted emergency services. While Budden sustained injuries, the situation was not deemed serious enough to pursue criminal charges. However, the dog's aggressive behavior continued.
Brazier, 21, was injured on July 20 when he returned to collect Pablo. He reportedly went to an emergency room but left due to long wait times. He was later forced to return to the hospital for significant treatment, spending eight hours receiving stitches.
This is not the first time Brazier's dog has been involved in an aggressive incident. In July of the previous year, Brazier reportedly ended his relationship with his ex-girlfriend, Holly Swinburn, after an argument over the dog. Swinburn, the mother of their daughter Isla Jade Brazier, allegedly attempted to take the dog from him, leading to the breakup.
Brazier had previously expressed a preference for dogs over people, stating in a social media post that "People are draining, dogs are healing." This sentiment followed his move out of the home he shared with Swinburn and their newborn daughter in April, after a dispute involving his grandmother, Jackiey.
Reports indicated that tensions between Brazier and Swinburn escalated when she allegedly prevented Jackiey from meeting their daughter. Brazier subsequently moved in with his grandmother. Swinburn reportedly had concerns about Jackiey's influence on Brazier.
Brazier's relationship with his grandmother has been tumultuous. In the past, his father, Jeff Brazier, attempted to obtain a court order to prevent Jackiey from having contact with his son, fearing she was a negative influence. Despite past conflicts and Brazier stating his grandmother had been lying to him, the two appeared to have reconciled by December. In June of the previous year, both Brazier and Budden were seen smoking what onlookers described as suspicious cigarettes.
