Bull Rider Dies After Being Thrown and Stomped On at Ohio Rodeo

A bull rider died Saturday evening after being thrown from a bull and stomped on at the Fox Hollow Rodeo in Waynesville, Ohio. Police identified the deceased as Justin "Blake" Saylor, 35, who was wearing a protective vest.

According to authorities, Saylor suffered a traumatic chest injury and was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The incident is being investigated as an accidental death.

Fox Hollow Rodeo released a statement expressing their sadness and offering thoughts and prayers to Saylor's family and friends. Saylor's girlfriend, Lindsay Marie, posted on social media that he died doing what he loved most, riding bulls, and that she wished she could hold him one last time.

Earlier this year, Saylor had posted on social media about suffering a broken collarbone from a previous bull-riding incident, including photos of his injury and of himself on the ground in the ring.
