Bruce Springsteen's Daughter Jessica Expecting First Child

Jessica Springsteen, daughter of rock icon Bruce Springsteen, is expecting her first child with boyfriend Nicola Philippaerts. The 34-year-old professional equestrian shared the news on Saturday in a joint Instagram post with Philippaerts, 33, a fellow equestrian.

"New adventures," the couple captioned their post, which included photos of Springsteen displaying her baby bump during what appeared to be a European getaway. Philippaerts was seen kissing her on the head in some images, and Springsteen cradled her bump in others.

Jessica is the only daughter of Bruce Springsteen, 77, and his wife Patti Scialfa. The couple also have two sons: Evan, 36, and Samuel, 32. Bruce Springsteen became a grandfather for the first time in 2022 when their son Samuel and his fiancée welcomed a daughter.

Springsteen and Scialfa have previously spoken about their efforts to raise their children away from the spotlight. In a 2025 interview with The Times, Bruce Springsteen described their home as one where "you wouldn't know musicians lived here," explaining that the children lived in a separate house to maintain a normal domestic life. He noted that his children largely ignore his fame and music success, stating, "They had their own musical heroes, they had their own music they were interested in."
