Brooklyn Beckham, 27, recently shared images of his tattooed torso on social media, a display that draws parallels to his estranged father, David Beckham. The aspiring chef's body art, which spans his upper chest and arms, is notably similar to that of the former footballer.
During his younger years, Brooklyn Beckham frequently sported tattoos that paid homage to his father. His first tattoo, a Native American chief on his forearm, was directly inspired by David Beckham. He shared this on Instagram at the time, stating, "just like dads [sic]." Another tattoo on his chest, depicting a cherub, is also a direct copy of David's own cherub designs. Additional tributes included a large anchor on his upper right arm with the word "Dad" and the year "1975," referencing David's birth year.
However, in the midst of a reported estrangement, Brooklyn has begun altering some of these tributes. The word "Dad" on his anchor tattoo is now partially obscured by geometric shapes and a star. Similarly, the "1975" tattoo appears to be faded or no longer visible. A handwritten inking that reads "love you Bust," a childhood nickname from his father, also appears less prominent.
The recent social media posts also included images of Beckham kissing his dog, his collection of high-end wine, and a glimpse of his home decor. He also promoted his hot sauce brand, Cloud 23.
This comes after Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, returned to New York City. The couple had recently been in the South of France, where they spent time with Elton John. This trip occurred shortly after they were in St. Tropez, where they dined out just days before David and Victoria Beckham were seen in the same resort town, though the two families did not appear to interact.
Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly missed the Beckham family's annual summer yacht trip for the second consecutive year amid the reported rift with his parents and siblings.
