Brooklyn Beckham Launches New Hot Sauce Collaboration Amidst Cooking Criticism

Brooklyn Beckham is venturing into the culinary world once again, this time with a new hot sauce collaboration. The aspiring chef, 27, has partnered with the California poke chain Sweetfin to launch a limited-edition menu item called the Cloud23 Bowl. This latest venture follows a series of online discussions about Beckham's cooking abilities.

To promote the collaboration, Beckham shared a series of clips on Instagram. In one video, he is seen blindfolded, using a pipette to add hot sauce to a spoonful of tuna, remarking, "Having blind tested 173.3 inferior alternatives, elevating the poke bowl came down to a single ingredient. The choice was delightfully simple." The announcement of the partnership was revealed as he removed his blindfold.

Beckham's cooking skills have previously drawn both praise and criticism from fans. In one instance, his method for making a Guinness and beer stew led some followers to accuse him of unnecessary fussiness, suggesting a slow cooker would have been more efficient. Comments indicated a perception that his recipes were overly complicated or "basic."

Responding to earlier critiques on a pasta dish, which some commenters described as "vile" and dubbed him a "spaghetti murderer," Beckham shared a meme from the sitcom Friends. He also clarified on his story that the pasta in question was intentionally meant to be burnt for a charred taste, a technique some fans defended.

This is not the first time Beckham has faced scrutiny over his culinary choices. Earlier this summer, he prepared a protein pizza using his own hot sauce brand, Cloud 23. Last year, a video of him using seawater to cook pasta gained significant attention and sparked controversy.

His father, David Beckham, also has a notable interest in cooking, having completed a six-month culinary course in Italy. The elder Beckham expressed an obsession with perfecting dishes like risotto and ragu.

The recent collaboration with Sweetfin marks a new chapter in Brooklyn Beckham's public exploration of food and cooking, positioning him as a chef with a specific product to offer, despite ongoing commentary on his methods.
