Brooklyn Beckham Breaks Silence on Family Estrangement, Cites Control and Lies

Brooklyn Beckham has broken his silence regarding his estranged relationship with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, detailing years of alleged control, public manipulation, and a desire for independence. In a candid statement, Beckham asserts that his parents have consistently controlled narratives about their family through the press and performative social media, leading him to feel compelled to speak out.

He claims his parents have actively tried to ruin his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz, since before their wedding. Beckham alleges that his mother canceled making Peltz's wedding dress at the last minute and that he was repeatedly pressured and offered bribes to sign away the rights to his name, which would have impacted his future family.

Beckham recounts instances of perceived disrespect and manipulation, including being called "evil" by his mother for including his grandmother and Peltz's grandmother at their wedding table. He also states that members of his family told him Peltz was "not blood" and "not family" the night before the wedding.

The aspiring chef further alleges that his mother "hijacked" his first dance with his wife at the wedding, replacing their planned romantic song with an impromptu dance with him in front of guests. He describes the experience as humiliating and states that he and Peltz wished to renew their vows to create positive memories.

Beckham also detailed attempts to connect with his father, David Beckham, for his birthday, which he claims were initially rejected unless it was a public event. He stated that an eventual meeting with his father was conditional on Peltz not being invited, which he felt was a "slap in the face."

He refutes the narrative that Peltz controls him, asserting instead that he has been controlled by his parents for most of his life and has experienced significant anxiety as a result. Since distancing himself from his family, Beckham states that this anxiety has disappeared, and he has found peace and relief. He and Peltz express a desire for a life not defined by image or manipulation, seeking only peace, privacy, and happiness for their future family.

Meanwhile, David Beckham appeared to offer an olive branch, liking a video of Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz attending a jewelry event in Paris on Thursday night, hours before Victoria Beckham's fashion show in the city.
