Bronwyn Newport Reveals Todd Bradley's Forgotten 40th Birthday Was 'Final Straw'

Bronwyn Newport, a star of "Real Housewives of Salt Lake City," has revealed that her estranged husband Todd Bradley's failure to acknowledge her 40th birthday was the decisive factor in ending their marriage.

"I was surprised Todd didn’t do anything for my 40th — no card, no gift, no party," Newport stated during the show's Season 7 premiere. "It was my first birthday since my dad passed, and that was really, like, the death of it."

Later in the episode, Newport described the forgotten milestone birthday, which occurred last September, as the "final straw" in their relationship. "Ultimately, I realized I had been by myself in that marriage for a long time, and I had to get myself out," she added.

Newport discussed with her mother, Muzzy, that she has delayed filing for divorce because the situation remains "very raw" for her, and she expressed significant fear of being alone. "I don’t think everybody else understands that there’s a period of time with Todd that I really loved. We’re just not in that period of time anymore," she explained.

Page Six exclusively reported in December that the couple had separated after nine years of marriage. Sources at the time indicated that Newport initiated the separation and was pursuing a divorce from Bradley, who is 26 years her senior.

In January, Newport reflected on the split, stating that rewatching Season 5 of "RHOSLC" was an "eye-opening" experience that led her to question their marriage. She mentioned that after filming for the sixth season concluded in June 2025, she and Bradley spent a quiet summer at home, mourning her father's death.

While Bradley was supportive during that difficult time, viewing past marital issues, including cheating rumors, on Season 5 brought their problems back into focus. Newport clarified that while reality television "brought out a weird dynamic" in their relationship, "the cameras didn’t create [their] problems."

During a Season 6 reunion episode in January, Newport confirmed that the separation was "my choice," aligning with previous reports.

Newport and Bradley do not have children together. Newport has a 20-year-old daughter, Gwen, from a previous relationship, and Bradley has two adult sons from his first marriage. Newport has previously stated that they did not sign a prenuptial agreement.

In February, Newport was reportedly linked to 32-year-old model Brandon Good, with a source telling People that the relationship was new but that Newport was "really happy."

However, during the recent episode, Newport's mother expressed concern about the new romance, finding it "very awkward" for Gwen, who is reportedly uncomfortable with the public nature of her mother's new relationship. "She’s protective," Muzzy commented.
