Broncos and Chargers Face Off in Pivotal Week 5 NFL Showdown
Both AFC West rivals, with contrasting win-loss records, are aiming for crucial victories at SoFi Stadium.
The Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers, both playoff participants just nine months ago, will meet in a critical Week 5 matchup of the 2026 NFL season at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The game is scheduled for Sunday, October 11, at 4:05 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on CBS.
The Chargers, led by quarterback Justin Herbert, are looking for their first win of the season. They enter the contest with an 0-4 record, having lost to the Cardinals, Raiders, Bills, and Seahawks. Despite the winless streak, head coach Jim Harbaugh expressed optimism following their most recent defeat. "We’ll go back and plan some more with the skilled coaches we have and the talented players and fight," Harbaugh stated.
In contrast, the Broncos, under the guidance of quarterback Bo Nix, hold a 2-2 record. Their two losses came against undefeated opponents, the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. Oddsmakers favor Denver in this matchup, with the Broncos holding a -3.5 point spread advantage on the road.
