During an appearance on the 49ers’ “You Got Mail” podcast, Purdy recounted his wife, Jenna, reading comments about his style. "Jenna reads the comments more than I do," Purdy said. "But she’s like, ‘People are still saying you look like a teacher leaving school to go play football.’ Anyway, it is what it is. So, I don’t know. Nice and simple."
Purdy described his game-day attire as a blend of his personal style, which includes his endorsement deals, often featuring boots and jeans. He noted that his wife helps him with his fashion choices, and they work with a stylist in Tennessee. "We like to mix in, you know, my Ariat deal, and wearing boots, and jeans, and stuff like that. It’s always a clean look," Purdy stated.
Despite the fan commentary on his style, Purdy's on-field performance remains a primary focus for the 49ers and their supporters. The team's undefeated record and Purdy's strong play are seen as paramount, suggesting that his fashion choices are secondary as long as his performance on the field continues at a high level.
