San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has acknowledged that fatherhood comes with its own set of challenges, particularly when it comes to diaper duty for his daughter, Millie. Purdy, who is expecting his second child with wife Jenna, shared his experiences during a recent appearance on the 49ers' "You Got Mail" podcast.
Purdy admitted that mastering the art of changing a diaper took some time. "Yeah, it took me a while," he said. "Just all like the little Velcro straps and stuff. You know, Jenna’s like, ‘Let me see it.’ Boom, boom, boom. She does it in two seconds. For me, it took me a little while, but I got the hang of it."
The challenges have evolved as his daughter has grown. "As Millie has gotten older, the tough part is she has to be in the mood to get her diaper changed," Purdy explained. "And if she’s not, she’s rolling around, and I’m like trying to pin her down, and, wipe and all that stuff. And I’m like, ‘Jenna, how do you do this?'"
Purdy and his wife, Jenna, welcomed their first daughter, Millie, in July 2025 and are now preparing for their second child. Despite the domestic hurdles, Purdy has demonstrated an ability to adapt and perform under pressure, both on and off the football field.
