Brittany Cartwright feels blindsided and betrayed by her publicist, Lori Krebs, who is reportedly now in a romance with Cartwright's estranged husband, Jax Taylor.
A source close to Cartwright told Page Six that the "Vanderpump Rules" alum feels more betrayed by Krebs than by Taylor, stating, "She doesn’t expect much from him at this point." Cartwright reportedly learned of the relationship shortly before photos of Taylor and Krebs together at a Mexico resort were published.
According to the source, Cartwright had previously chosen to believe Krebs when rumors of a relationship between Taylor and Krebs first surfaced two years ago. "She continued to work with her and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?" the source said.
Cartwright, 37, filed for divorce from Taylor, 46, in August 2024, citing irreconcilable differences. She stated in her petition that the couple had been separated since January 2024.
Speculation about Taylor and Krebs' relationship intensified the month after Cartwright filed for divorce, when both individuals posted photos on their respective Instagram Stories that showed them leaning in for selfies and kissing each other on the cheek. A subsequent blind item circulating online alleged that the two had engaged in an intimate encounter. Cartwright publicly dismissed these rumors at the time on their now-defunct shared podcast, calling them "ridiculous."
Cartwright had previously described Krebs as a "very, very good friend" and an "amazing publicist."
However, the source suggested that Krebs has a pattern of inserting herself into her clients' professional lives, noting, "Lori has always inserted herself into moments that should be about her clients — like photo opps and red carpets — but this time, she inserted herself into her clients’ divorce and crossed a line she cannot come back from."
Taylor previously denied the rumors in April 2024, telling Entertainment Tonight that they were "all just hearsay."
Despite Cartwright's divorce filing, Krebs reportedly continued to represent both parties. It remains unclear if this arrangement has changed following the recent news. Krebs has since deactivated her Instagram account.
Allegations of infidelity have surrounded Taylor and Cartwright's relationship since their time on "Vanderpump Rules." Taylor has publicly admitted to one instance of cheating on Cartwright during their relationship.
