Brittany Cartwright has broken her silence on her estranged husband Jax Taylor's public display with their publicist, Lori Krebs, during a recent trip to Mexico.
Taylor and Krebs were photographed holding each other in a pool last weekend at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta. Krebs, who had represented both Taylor and Cartwright for years, was with Taylor as part of a group trip celebrating his 47th birthday. News of the sighting led Cartwright to fire Krebs, with a source telling People that Cartwright was "very upset" but "not surprised" as she "could tell" their bond was "more than client-rep."
Speaking on her podcast, "When Reality Hits," with co-star Zack Wickham, Cartwright stated, "All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth - the truth - on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready." She added that she is focusing on herself and their five-year-old son, Cruz, and is "trying to protect my son and my peace."
Sources told TMZ that Taylor and Krebs "looked entirely wrapped up in each other" and were "not trying to hide that they were together" during their time in the pool. Page Six reported that Cartwright feels "betrayed" by Krebs, with one source noting that Cartwright is more upset with her publicist than Taylor, stating she "doesn’t expect much from him at this point."
This is not the first time Taylor has been linked to Krebs. In February 2024, fans speculated about a potential spark after Taylor shared an affectionate photo with Krebs on Instagram. At the time, Taylor and Cartwright shut down the rumors. Taylor also previously denied infidelity played a role in his split from Cartwright, telling ET, "Believe it or not, there are other reasons too. I know I don’t have the best track record but no this was just a communication thing."
Taylor and Cartwright, who wed in 2019, saw their marriage crumble on camera before Cartwright filed for divorce in 2024. The divorce has not yet been finalized. Cartwright had previously revealed they had been living separately for months prior to the divorce filing. She also spoke about the impact of their marital issues on her self-esteem, telling Us Weekly that she felt like "a roommate" and was unhappy in a "sexless marriage."
