Brittany Cartwright has broken her silence regarding her ex-partner Jax Taylor's relationship with Lori Krebs, their former shared publicist. Cartwright addressed the situation on the Friday episode of her podcast, "When Reality Hits." "All I’m going to say about this at this moment is I will be speaking my truth — the truth — on this matter very soon whenever I’m ready," she stated.
Cartwright, who is co-parenting their 5-year-old son, Cruz, with Taylor, indicated that her current focus is on her son and her personal peace. "And as of right now, I’m just trying to protect my son and my peace and very soon I will be telling [my story]," she added. She suggested that the public likely understands the ongoing developments, stating, "I mean, I think everybody kinda understands what’s going on."
The reality star's comments come after photos surfaced of Taylor and Krebs appearing intimate during a vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. The images showed the two holding each other in a pool and in close conversation.
A source previously told Page Six that Cartwright felt more betrayed by Krebs than by Taylor, stating that she had believed Krebs when rumors of a romance first surfaced approximately two years ago. "When the Jax-Lori rumors first started swirling two years ago, Brittany chose to believe Lori that nothing was going on," the source said. "[Cartwright] continued to work with [Krebs] and trust her, and this is how Lori repays her?" The source also suggested that Krebs has a history of inserting herself into clients' situations and has now "crossed a line she cannot come back from."
Cartwright filed for divorce from Taylor in August 2024, having announced their separation in February of the same year. They continue to co-parent their son while their divorce proceedings are ongoing.
