Brittany Aldean Launches Fragrance Brand, Leans on Husband Jason for Business Advice

Brittany Aldean has launched her own fragrance brand, VADA, a venture inspired by her late grandmother. Aldean told Fox News Digital that after more than a decade of considering a business in the beauty or fashion industry, she settled on personal fragrance.

"My inspiration behind VADA itself, the name and everything was my grandmother," Aldean said. "Louvada was her name, so I used a beautiful abbreviation for the name. And she was just all things beauty. And I feel like that's where I got everything from."

Developing the brand was a rigorous process, with Aldean spending over two and a half years creating the products. "I think the personal investment in launching a business is massive," she said. "I didn't really realize, and now it's really just the time frame of everything and how long things take if you really are passionate about something and a perfectionist like I am."

Aldean also shared how her husband, country superstar Jason Aldean, has been a source of support. "It's funny, actually this morning I zoomed with him. He's in Nashville taking care of our babies and I just zoomed in with him and was asking him business questions," she recalled.

She noted that Jason encouraged her entrepreneurial ambitions from the beginning. "From the beginning, he knew that I'm very independent. He knew I wanted to start something. He said, 'It'll come to you one day and when it does, you'll rock it,'" Aldean said.

The couple, parents to Memphis, 8, and Navy, 7, navigates busy schedules. Aldean mentioned that finding time for their marriage has become more challenging as their children have grown. "Spending quality time with each other, which I feel has been a challenge, but we make sure we do it," she stated.

They have established a rhythm that accommodates Jason's touring schedule. Aldean explained that she often handles the morning routines, while Jason assists with taking the children to school. When he is home, the couple aims for quieter days, with Aldean managing work and the family's animals. "I'm the one that kind of runs around like a crazy person," she joked. "We tag team life, for sure, and it's so nice to have him when he's not on tour."

Aldean hopes her children will be inspired by seeing both parents pursue their careers. "I love that they see their mom working hard as well and starting something from the ground up and really putting like the passion behind it and the love for something," she said. Her youngest daughter, Navy, has already expressed interest in joining the family business.

In addition to her business endeavors, Aldean is known for her early enthusiasm for the holiday season. She revealed that her family's Christmas decorations are typically put up the day after Halloween, by November 2nd. "I just wanna enjoy it as much as possible," Aldean explained.

This tradition is partly influenced by Jason's touring schedule. "So it's special to come home and have it be decorated for Christmas, and get to enjoy it a little longer," she said, noting that it allows the family to enjoy the festive atmosphere whenever they are home together during the holiday period.
