Britney Spears Seen Driving After DUI Arrest

Britney Spears was observed in the passenger seat of a black BMW departing Nobu Malibu this week, approximately seven months after her arrest and charge for driving under the influence (DUI). Spears, 44, has been on a year-long probation following the March 3 incident in Westlake Village, California.

She was seen wearing dark sunglasses and a black turtleneck while smoking a cigarette. Her blonde hair was styled in waves, parted down the middle. The driver of the vehicle was described as a man with glasses, short dark hair, and a greying goatee.

Following the DUI charge, Spears pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 12 months of probation. This sentence included enrollment in a three-month alcohol and drug education program, a $571 fine, and weekly psychological and bi-monthly psychiatric sessions. She is also prohibited from consuming alcohol and drugs, with exceptions for prescribed medication.

Reports indicated that Spears's sons, Sean, 21, and Jayden, 20, played a role in prompting their mother to seek treatment following the DUI incident. A source told the Daily Mail that the sons were firm in their approach, stating, "This was non-negotiable to them."

Spears's legal representation entered the guilty plea on her behalf at the Ventura County Superior Court arraignment. She shares her sons with ex-husband Kevin Federline, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2007. Federline was granted majority custody of their sons in October 2007.

This sighting follows a previous public incident in July where Spears was seen climbing through the sunroof of a Mercedes SUV on a busy freeway, with onlookers capturing the spectacle on video. The conservatorship that had been in place for nearly 14 years, with her father Jamie Spears as guardian, was terminated in 2021.
