Britney Spears has responded to public scrutiny over a recent freeway stunt by posting a defiant selfie video with her driver, who is rumored to be her new boyfriend. The pop star, 44, shared the since-deleted video on Instagram on Wednesday, sticking her tongue out at the camera. The post also featured her son Jayden James, 19, and came days after footage emerged of Spears climbing through the sunroof of a Mercedes SUV while it was in motion on a busy Los Angeles freeway.

The video showed Spears in the passenger seat, wearing a straw hat and sunglasses, with a man in the driver's seat. He also mimicked her tongue-out gesture. Spears's caption for the post read, in part, "Crazy how life is,,, so many different moments all rolled into to one! If this is the game of life, there are no rules!!!" She also praised her son's girlfriend, noting she made her wear a red hat, and added seemingly unrelated thoughts about spring and working out.

Last Friday, Spears was filmed by onlookers as she climbed out of the sunroof of the SUV, which was reportedly traveling at about 45 mph. Witnesses estimated she remained in that position for approximately two minutes before the vehicle exited the highway. According to a source cited by the Daily Mail, Spears was attempting to see how much traffic was ahead because the cars had stopped. The source suggested she enjoyed the feeling of the wind in her hair, a sensation she experienced as a child.

This incident follows Spears's DUI arrest on March 4, for which she recently pleaded to a reduced reckless driving charge. She avoided jail time but received 12 months of probation, a $571 fine, and was ordered to complete 30 hours of DUI education classes.

The since-deleted Instagram post also included clips of Spears dancing in a sparkly bikini and a photo of Jayden with his girlfriend. Spears also shares son Sean Preston, 20, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
