Britney Spears Flaunts New Design Amidst Dance Videos and Past Collaborator's Praise

Britney Spears, 44, recently posted a series of Instagram videos showcasing a new, enigmatic red design on her backside while dancing in her home. In one clip shared Sunday, Spears is seen in a black one-piece lingerie bodysuit, paired with black heels and gloves. She captioned the post with a dagger, the Japanese flag, and a nail polish emoji, and in a previous post from the series, she wrote, 'Protect your heart.'

Spears also shared a video of herself dancing to her 2001 song "Lonely," reflecting on her relationship with dancing to her own music. "I’m so confused … Is there a difference or different feeling when I dance to my songs and my voice!!!" she mused. "Hmmm."

These recent posts come as a former choreographer, Brian Friedman, spoke about his experience working with Spears approximately 25 years ago. Friedman, 49, who has choreographed for Spears' hits including "Toxic," "Till the World Ends," and "I'm a Slave 4 U," described the singer as "unstoppable" and "the best of the best" during an interview with People magazine.

Friedman recalled Spears' early career, noting, "She was on top of the world, which is crazy to think about. She was 19 years old. She was just a baby at that time." He mentioned that Spears had a talent for making choreography her own, stating, "She knew how to make things look her own... when you give choreography to an artist, you choreograph it for them, and you have them in mind. So when they do the work, it should look like them, and it shouldn't look like they're trying to be someone else."

Friedman, who has also worked with artists such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Lady Gaga, described the creative process for Spears' music videos as "easygoing" and attributed its magic to a sense of "blind naivete" and "healthy delusion" that comes with youth, where one believes everything they do will be epic without second-guessing.

Representatives for Spears did not immediately respond to requests for further comment on the story.
