Britney Spears Attempts to Go Incognito During NYC Lunch Outing

Britney Spears sought to maintain a low profile during a lunch outing at the New York City restaurant RinTinTin on Thursday. The singer, 44, was observed concealing her face with a scarf while dining at the establishment.

Eyewitnesses reported that Spears spent over an hour at the eatery and consumed three glasses of red wine. While her food order remains undisclosed, her bodyguards were later seen carrying a brown paper bag, indicating she may have taken food to go. Spears' efforts to remain inconspicuous continued after leaving the restaurant; she was seen smoking cigarettes and filming with her cellphone while seated in an awaiting vehicle.

The outing follows Spears' recent public statements expressing lingering resentment over her 13-year conservatorship, which concluded in November 2021. In a since-deleted Instagram post, she described feeling "bitter" about the restrictions on her autonomy and finances during that period.

This appearance also comes several months after Spears faced legal issues in California. In May, her attorney entered a plea of guilty on her behalf to a reduced charge of reckless driving involving alcohol, commonly referred to as a “wet reckless.” She received a sentence of one year of informal probation and was required to complete a three-month alcohol education program.

Earlier this month, Spears shared a family outing with her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, during a visit to Dollywood in Tennessee.
