A brawl erupted at a family hotel in Santa Susanna, Spain, after a 13-year-old British girl allegedly sat on a sun lounger that was already in use. Shocking video footage captures the moment the girl, wearing a green bikini, was knocked over and repeatedly hit by a man.

Dozens of terrified tourists watched as the assault unfolded, with several British holidaymakers reportedly intervening to help the girl. A man in orange swim trunks was seen being forcibly restrained, and hotel staff were described as being too afraid to break up the chaos.

The incident, which witnesses described as a "full-scale riot," reportedly escalated when the alleged assailant's friends also joined the physical altercation. One witness quoted in The Sun stated, "An innocent girl of 13 was punched in the face by a yob after she sat on an empty lounger. She had no idea that it had already been in use by another family."

The victim was taken to the hospital with blood covering her face and a broken nose. Others involved sustained cuts and bruises. The attacker's companions were also accused of hitting the young girl. Locals reportedly identified the group as "Spanish gypsies."

During the commotion, fireworks were set off, leading some to fear a terrorist attack as parents rushed to protect their children. The fight has been characterized by witnesses as akin to a "saloon bar brawl," but involving families at an all-inclusive resort.

At least six police officers and an ambulance were called to the scene. Following the incident and treatment of the teenager, her family was relocated to another resort. Witnesses also claimed that Spanish police were not approached and that the hotel had offered no apology.

The dispute over sun loungers, a common point of contention among holidaymakers, has been described as having been taken to a "new extreme" by this violent encounter.
