Tiphaine Auzière, the 42-year-old daughter of French First Lady Brigitte Macron, has reportedly begun a relationship with 22-year-old business student Antoine Lecomte. The age difference between Auzière and Lecomte is 20 years, echoing the 25-year age gap between Brigitte Macron and French President Emmanuel Macron.
Auzière shared a video on Instagram highlighting moments from a trip to Amsterdam with Lecomte. According to French magazine Gala, the couple met over the summer in the beach town of Le Touquet, where Lecomte worked as a kitesurfing instructor and taught Auzière to use an e-foil.
A close friend of Auzière told Gala that the connection between the two was immediate and that they share common interests, including a love for Le Touquet, adventure, travel, and entrepreneurship. The report also indicated that Auzière, a lawyer and politician, has introduced Lecomte to her two children.
Brigitte Macron is reportedly pleased with her daughter's new relationship, with a source telling Gala that the First Lady's primary concern is her daughter's happiness. The source added that Brigitte Macron would be delighted to meet Antoine Lecomte.
The dynamic of Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron's relationship has previously been the subject of media attention. Reports have suggested that Brigitte Macron harbors insecurities about her husband potentially leaving her, partly due to their significant age difference. French President Emmanuel Macron has often dismissed rumors about his personal life as baseless gossip.
