Brighton Cocaine Raid Suspect Faces New Charges
Police allege a list of drug debtors was found on Jesse Doree's phone.
Jesse Doree, who was arrested in a $100,000 cocaine raid in Brighton, has been hit with two additional charges. Authorities allege that a list of individuals who owed tens of thousands of dollars in drug debts was discovered on his phone.
The escalation in charges comes as investigators continue to probe the alleged drug trafficking operation. Doree, described as a former private schoolboy and the son of a prominent lawyer, was apprehended at a unit in Brighton East.
During the raid, investigators reportedly found more than 300 grams of cocaine, along with cash and multiple phones. The discovery of the alleged debtors list adds a new dimension to the case, suggesting a wider network of individuals involved in the illicit trade.
The investigation is ongoing, with police seeking to identify all individuals named on the alleged debtors list and to dismantle the alleged drug trafficking ring.
