Bridget Fonda Seen in Los Angeles Amid Reports of Significant Weight Loss
The retired actress, 62, displayed a trimmer figure during a recent low-key outing in Los Angeles.
Bridget Fonda, 62, was observed in Los Angeles this week, showcasing a noticeably thinner physique. The retired actress, who has reportedly lost approximately 100 pounds, was seen in a casual ensemble of a white top, blue cardigan, and black sweats.
This sighting follows recent appearances where Fonda has displayed her transformed figure. In February, a nutritionist suggested that Fonda might have achieved her weight loss through medication such as GLP-1 drugs, like Ozempic or Zepbound, or through a significant reduction in sugar, carbohydrates, and dairy intake. Another nutritionist in October of last year also pointed to GLP-1s and dietary changes as potential factors.
Fonda, daughter of the late actor Peter Fonda and niece of Jane Fonda, made her film debut at age five in "Easy Rider." Her acting career gained momentum in the late 1980s and included notable roles in films such as "The Godfather Part III" (1990), "Single White Female" (1992), "Jackie Brown" (1997), and "Lake Placid" (1999). She received a Golden Globe nomination for her performance in "Scandal" (1989). Fonda's last screen appearance was in the 2002 television film "Snow Queen."
Her acting career was impacted by a car accident in 2003 that resulted in a fractured vertebra. That same year, she married composer Danny Elfman, with whom she has a son, Oliver. In 2023, Fonda stated that she has no plans to return to acting, expressing contentment with her life as a civilian.
