Bridget Fonda, 62, Spotted in Rare Public Appearance Showing Slimmed-Down Figure
The former actress, who stepped away from Hollywood over two decades ago, was seen running errands.
Bridget Fonda, 62, was recently seen out and about, showcasing a slimmer physique during a rare public outing nearly 25 years after stepping away from her acting career. The actress, known for her roles in films like "Single White Female" and "Jackie Brown," was photographed running errands with a friend on a Tuesday.
For the outing, Fonda opted for a casual ensemble consisting of a black t-shirt, loose black trousers, an oversized white button-up shirt, and white sneakers. This appearance follows another infrequent sighting last month, where she also displayed a noticeably trimmed figure while out for lunch in Los Angeles. During that earlier outing, she wore a tank top and had her hair styled in an updo.
Fonda's last known acting role was in the 2002 television film "The Snow Queen." She has largely remained out of the public eye since her retirement from Hollywood, dedicating her time to raising her son, Oliver, who is now 21. Her husband, composer Danny Elfman, has also been in the public eye, facing accusations of sexual harassment in 2017 and 2023. Elfman has denied these allegations, and the parties in one case settled for $830,000. Throughout these periods, Fonda has reportedly stood by her husband.
In 2023, Fonda confirmed her intention to remain retired from acting, stating that she found civilian life to be "too nice." She and Elfman married in 2003 and were notably photographed together in May 2025, marking their first public appearance in 16 years prior to her recent outings.
