Bride-to-Be Among Three Killed in Fiery California Tesla Crash
A 28-year-old woman, her fiancé's mother has revealed, died along with two others when their vehicle struck a tree and caught fire.
A bride-to-be was among three individuals who died in a catastrophic fiery crash in El Dorado Hills, California, on Saturday night. Kailauna Viola Mills, 28, of Roseville, was killed along with Charles Anthony Cameron, 30, of Sacramento, and Alejandra Mendoza, 28, of Sacramento.
The incident occurred at approximately 10:40 p.m. on westbound Serrano Parkway, west of Terracina Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Authorities reported that a 2024 Tesla Model Y had collided with a tree and was fully engulfed in flames upon their arrival. Cameron, a passenger, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Mendoza and Mills were discovered inside the burning vehicle after firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Jennifer Roth, the mother of Mills' fiancé, shared her grief on Facebook, stating, "To say we are heartbroken doesn’t come close to describing the pain we are feeling. She was the missing puzzle piece that we didn’t even know was missing."
