Brian Hickerson's brother, Zach Hickerson, has attributed a recent bar fight and subsequent arrest to the persistent rumors surrounding the death of actress Hayden Panettiere. Zach Hickerson claimed that the online speculation and misinformation about Panettiere's August 16 passing are frustrating and can lead to negative reactions.
"It’s just super frustrating all that we’ve been through and all the rumors that get started and then people believe them and then they attack as a result of the rumors," Zach Hickerson told TMZ on Sunday, following his release from jail in Greenville, South Carolina. He added that people often "fill in their own holes" when it comes to the tragedy.
Brian Hickerson's attorney did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The incident occurred on Saturday at approximately 9:10 p.m. at the Wild Wing Cafe in Greenville, South Carolina. Police responded to an alleged assault, leading to the arrests of both Brian and Zach Hickerson. Brian Hickerson was released from the scene without being charged.
